Seattle Seahawks: A New Season on the Horizon

The Seattle Seahawks are gearing up for the new season with a series of significant moves and announcements. The Seahawks have announced their 2023 preseason schedule, setting the stage for the team's performance in the coming months. The team has also made some strategic roster moves, signing cornerback Artie Burns and fourth-round pick Anthony Bradford, bolstering their defensive line-up.

Quarterback Geno Smith is approaching the offseason with the same mentality that helped him secure the starting job last year. As the first day of OTAs gets underway, Smith is preparing for his second season as Seattle's starter. Linebacker Bobby Wagner is also excited to be back with the Seahawks and in No. 54 as OTAs get underway. Wagner's return is a significant boost for the team's defensive unit.

The Seahawks were one of the biggest surprise teams of last season, winning 9 games and even clinching a playoff berth. The Seahawks used their first round pick this year on Jackson Smith-Njiba, to form a great trio of wide receivers along with Dk Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. If Geno can build upon the success he had last year, this Seahawks team could be a very dangerous wild card team again.
